A Registered Investment Adviser with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since 1997, Ramius' investment strategies are designed to address both institutional and high net worth individuals' needs to preserve and grow allocated capital. Ramius practices capital preservation; its investment philosophy targets long-term wealth enhancement rather than more rapid wealth creation that may bring with it higher risk.

Ramius’ Founding Managing Members (Peter Cohen, Jeffrey Solomon, Morgan Stark, and Thomas Strauss) have extensive experience derived from prior positions at the most senior levels in global capital markets and investment management. As a result, Ramius has not only established a network of relationships within the global financial community, but also has a seasoned perspective on the disciplines required to manage a successful investment program. In addition, Ramius has assembled a professional and support staff with their own extensive experience within each respective discipline.
